Life moves fast. Blink and the moments that matter most slip quietly past. I created Bird & Anchor as a space to pause, to hold onto the beautiful and the real, and to celebrate the stories that make us us. Whether it's the way two people look at each other when they think no one's watching, or the quiet confidence of a brand stepping boldly into its identiy, those are the moments I live to capture.

The name Bird & Anchor was born from something I've felt my whole life—that beautiful tension between two worlds. The bird in me craves adventure, freedom, and the thrill of chasing light across continents. The anchor in me is rooted in home, in warmth, in the people and places that hold me steady. As a true Gemini, I've never been just one thing, and I've stopped trying to be. This space is a reflection of that duality: wild and grounded, adventurous and intimate, always real.

Based in Vancouver, B.C., I've spent over 8 years behind the lens and over 15 years shaping visuals through design. I’ve been crafting imagery that feels like something. Raw, candid, and honest. The kind you return to years from now and feel all over again.

Bird & Anchor was born from a deep love of the play of natural light, of authentic people, and of the belief that your photos should feel like you—not a version of you posed and perfected for someone else's idea of beauty. My work has taken me from the misty forests of Whistler to the sun-soaked streets of Sayulita; from Venice Beach and Bali to Paris and Naroibi, and lots of little places in between. Have love?
